This will be a short message, especially since it's Sunday and the day of rest.
Dublin has 1.5 million people of the 3.5 million total people in the Irish
Republic. Dublin is compact and has access to the sea (that's how the Viking's
initially settled here). By the way, Edith's reddish hair and freckles are
partly due to some of that Viking blood brought forward by her Irish
ancestors..
The shops opened today at 11 a.m. There were some late-minute changes is plans
where Edith and several ladies went to the central shopping district and I got
on the tour bus to look at some more ruins in the low mountains at Wicklow (the
area where the TV show Bally Kiss-Angel is based). During that
time, I spent $1 for a bottle of water. Does anyone believe that Edith also
acted as frugally? Yeah, sure she did!
Last night, we went to an Irish cabaret in a hotel that included a meal. There
were Irish dancers, musicians and singers. The tenor sang Oh Danny Boy
wonderfully. The comedian was a funny, short, bald man who had been with the
show for over 20 years. It seems that a boatload of Viagra heading for Ireland
sunk off the coast of Greenland. There was much confusion and no one quite knew
exactly what had happened, and then the Titanic suddenly rose from the ocean floor.
